Lukas was super excited to see me and I got some fun shots of him in his Pop's gorgeous red corvette! Then I went to find Mr. Owen, who wasn't quite as excited, but we were able to get some sweet pictures of him! Lukas is already a great big brother! And you'd think this was Lisa and Doug's 5th child, they were both so calm and laid back!

Congratulations to all of you! I am so happy to have met Mr. Owen and I can't wait to watch him grow up!

For some time, I have been wanting to expand my business. However, in order to do this means trusting someone to do the same things that I would do in any given situation. I looked for a very long time and approached a very good friend of mine, who also happens to be a phenominal photographer, and asked her to come on board with me. This person is Kim DeLoach. She and I share the same faith, the same desire to be great mommies and the same passion for photography. Starting this year, Kim will be working with the studio to provide the same incredible experiences that people have come to know and love from Jana Candler Photography. Kim's website is www.KimDeloachPhoto.com. Go check her out and see what you think. I believe that you'll agree that she is a great addition to the studio!

Secondly, I now have a studio manager, named Sarah. She will be helping in the editing process, album design and overall customer experience. Sarah is a very familiar face to my blog and has been in the background for quite some time. She recently graduated from Anderson University with a psychology degree. Sarah is a wonderful person who cares about our business as much as we do.

And last, but certainly not least, we now have our first intern! Jenny Farnham is a senior at North Greenville University majoring in print media. She also happens to be one of my 2011 brides! Jenny is a very talented photographer as well and will be honing her skills while interning with us. You can see Jenny's work here.

So, welcome, Kim, Sarah and Jenny! I'm so excited to be on this journey with all of you!

The reception was held at 701 Whaley. I LOVED this venue! It was so beautiful! They had paintings hanging on the wall to decorate the venue that Brandon's dad, Wayne, had painted. I thought they were just pieces of art from a local artist! They were amazing! I may have to see about getting one for myself! :) They also had Krispy Kreme doughnuts delivered to the reception and I was SO happy about that! Brandon had a special song played for he and his sister, Evie, to dance to. It was such a sweet moment that I caught myself crying!

The whole day was full of laughter and love and Katie Beth didn't stop smiling the entire time! I loved watching them look at each other because it was as if none of us were there. You could tell that this was a marriage made in heaven!

Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to capture your sweet memories! Congratulations! I hope you are LOVING Mexico!

My new blog contest will be about "awkward family photos". I'm sure some of you have gotten the emails that are going around with people's actual family photos that are hysterical! I'm going to go digging to see if I can find some that I have here. I'm certain there are plenty to choose from!

What I'm looking for are crazy photos, they can be of you and your family, someone else's family or even just a group of friends, but you must KNOW them. For inspiration, go check out this link.

However, Kellen's story is a little different than most babies. His mommy and daddy have wanted a baby for a very long time. They've gone to multiple doctors but have just never been able to get pregnant. After much heartache, they decided to adopt.

Kellen's birth parents as well as their parents each looked through the prospective parents' files separately and they ALL 6 chose Aimee and Brent!! And if that weren't enough, Kellen looks exactly like Brent and Aimee. Isn't it great how God works?

So, welcome to the world, little man, and welcome to your precious God chosen family! You are a very blessed little boy. Brent and Aimee, I couldn't be any happier for you both! I know you are enjoying every second with Kellen! Congrats!

They were married at a beautiful little chapel in the mountains of Cedar Mountain, North Carolina. It was a sweet service with lots of love and tears! The reception was held at another location in the mountians with a gorgeous porch filled with family and friends!
