This fun couple will be tying the knot on December 11th of this year. We met down at the studio this week and did some fun engagement pictures. They even brought along their sweet puppy, Samson, for the shoot. He was so great!

It was such a great day! Hot, but great! :) They are such a phenominal couple. I have so enjoyed getting to know them. They are so sweet together and have this amazing love for each other.

Lindsey's dress was handmade by a friend and was PERFECT, in so many ways.

(And here is my FAVORITE from Lindsey's bridal session.)



Their ceremony was held at the Furman chapel and was such a sweet service. Then we went downtown to Zen where eveyone danced and had a GREAT time! And the cake, made by her aunt, simply unbelievable. Not only did they have a wedding cake, but they had a cake table that had several cakes on it! It was incredible!

My favorite part of the evening was Lindsey's dance with her daddy. They started out slow dancing and cut into this routine that was amazing. I laughed and cried through the whole dance! It was so fun!

Lindsey and Ryan, I cannot thank you enouch for allowing me to be a part of your perfect wedding day! Thank you for being so kind to me with every interaction. It was such a pleasure photographing you both! I hope Jamaica is treating you well! Enjoy!

They were married one year ago on August 8th. They wanted some fun anniversary pictures to celebrate their anniversary, so we met downtown and went to several fun places.

They were married in Raleigh, NC and lived there until they were transferred here in March. I just loved watching them interact with each other. It was very sweet. You could tell that they really love each other. They brought along their sweet dog, Sophie, for the shoot too. She was PRECIOUS! We got some fun shots with her and then finished up with some incredible shots of them. The weather has been stormy in the evenings during the summer and I got to take full advantage of the awesome clouds in our shoot.

He is the newest edition to the Kirksey family. As you may recall, I had the privlege of photographing Will and Kelli's wedding as well as their sweet girl, Layla's, baby pictures. I can hardly believe how grown up Miss Layla is! She is such a good big sister! And she LOVES that little man! George is named after Kelli's maiden name, which I think is pretty special!

He is the newest edition to the Williams family. His mommy and daddy are some of our sweet friends that we teach with at church.

I have known Mark and Ginny for quite a while now and was so thrilled for them. I could hardly wait to meet this little man and wasn't disappointed one bit. He was asleep when I arrived and I got to help wake him up. I just love all the stretching and noises babies make! Most 2 week olds are not awake for too terribly long, but he was ALERT the entire time I was there. I even got to feed and change him! It was so fun! I know that sounds crazy, but it's fun to get my baby "fix" without actually having to be pregnant or have another one of my own! :)

I am so happy for you both! I hope these pictures will be a reminder of how amazingly blessed you both are! Especailly through this infant time, but even more when he turns 16 and starts driving!

**..**]]> Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Thornburg http://janacandlerphoto.com/blog/index.php?link=332 http://janacandlerphoto.com/blog/index.php?link=332 Wed, 07 Jul 2010 00:03:15 -0400 This past Saturday I had the privilege of photographing Molly and Andrew's wedding. They were married at the Cliffs chapel on Glassy Mountain and it could not have been a more perfect day! Especially for July! The weather was simply gorgeous which reflected the whole mood of the day.

Molly and Andrew are the type of couple that make you feel so at ease when you are around them. They are so comfortable with each other and they look at each other and the whole world disappears! That was quite evident during the ceremony when I got these two shots.

I also loved the way Molly's family treated everyone, including me! I wasn't the "hired help", I was a part of the family. It was really great just being around them.

The flowers, by Frilly Bloomers, were simply perfect. They were so unique and I just loved them! Christine Faust and her team at Faust Events, did a fabulous job planning the wedding and reception. Every detail was perfect, down to the suitcases with everyone's names on the tables. (Molly and Andrew will soon be moving to Scotland!)

The reception was held at Augusta Manor and Sharon and her staff did a great job! Augusta Manor is such a beautiful place, so check it out if you are looking for a reception site.

Molly and Andrew, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! It was such a great day! I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon! Here are some favorites.....

**..**]]> Another High Fashion shoot for Augusta Twenty! http://janacandlerphoto.com/blog/index.php?link=330 http://janacandlerphoto.com/blog/index.php?link=330 Thu, 01 Jul 2010 01:53:25 -0400 So, as you know, I share a space with a fabulous boutique, Augusta Twenty, here in Greenville. We have started doing a collection of shoots for ads in a local magazine.

I get to take the girls to fun locations around town and photograph them in their incredible clothes that they sell at Augusta Twenty. We always have a blast shooting these pictures and I love how this forces me to be different and creative. I adore these two girls so much and feel so blessed to get to share a space with them as well as just be friends with them. It makes going into the "office/studio" so much more fun!

They have also just started their own blog, which I LOVE reading. It certainly inspires this mommy/no-style whatsoever girl to dress better and to shop at this incredible store!

Mercy and Wyatt did GREAT for our shoot! They both have these amazing eyes! So fun to photograph!

Sara and Aaron! They were married this past Saturday at our church, Taylors First Baptist Church. They had a beautiful ceremony and a super fun reception at Twigs Tempietto.

I have known these two for several years. Kyle and I even taught Sara in Sunday School. They have been dating for almost 6 years now! It was so sweet to see them come to this day in their lives.

Sara and Aaron, I am very proud of both of you. Aaron, you are going to do great at Seminary and Sara, I know you are going to be a fabulous photographer! Congrats! I hope y'all are enjoying Costa Rica! Hugs!
