Meet the Lockyer family.  They travelled all the way to Greenville, South Carolina from England and Australia to visit with Adam and Alexis, who live here.  We had a beautiful day for pictures and I was able to get some great shots!

Here is sweet little Marlee.  She is the daughter of one of my former brides, Katie Farr Hardman.  Isn't she just beautiful???  I photographed her mom and dad's wedding almsot 2 years ago.  Marlee did great for our shoot and was just perfect the whole time!  I even got to hold her and she was so sweet and cuddly!  

Congratulations Jason and Katie!  Marlee is perfect!

Meet Zeke.  He is the newest edition to the Mize family.  His sweet parents adopted him when he was only 2 weeks old and instantly fell in love with him.  And who wouldn't with that sweet face!?!?

When you really know someone, like I know Lyn, photographing their wedding can be very difficult, and at the same time, so easy.  What I mean is that I usually get to know my brides on a certain level, but when it's someone that you've been friends with for years, it adds a whole new dimension to things.  So, needless to say, to shoot her wedding was a very emotional thing for me.  I even got to stand at the front while they were saying their vows, which never happens.  So, I was front and center for all of the glances and smiles that I normally never get to see.  It was such a great moment for me.  I had to keep reminding myself that I was there to do a job and not just cry through the service!  

The whole day, from the weather, to the location, was simply perfect.  It was as if both of her parents were smiling down on them from heaven, giving their blessing!  

Lyn and Clay, I can't begin to tell you how much it meant to me to be a part of your wedding day.  I will never forget it!  Love to you both!

On Saturday, I got to photograph Morgan (Burke) and Robert's wedding.  They live in Columbia, so they had their wedding at Shandon United Methodist Church.  This church was GORGEOUS!!!  I loved being able to shoot there, so much fun.  

Morgan looked simply stunning in her gown and Robert was ever so handsome in his tux!  They make a striking couple!  They couldn't keep their eyes off of each other all day, it was so sweet.  

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!  I enjoyed it so much!  I hope you are having a great time on your honeymooon!

A little background on this picture.  Morgan is a Gamecock fan, Robert, a Clemson fan.  Morgan had on a USC garter and surprised Robert with it!  You have to view the slideshow to see his face right after this picture.  Hilarious!
