This past Saturday, I had the privilege of photographing Emily and Russell's wedding.  They were married at the Daniel Chapel on Furman's campus with their reception at the Wyche Pavillion at Larkins on the River.  

It was such an amazing day!  The weather was perfect, the flowers were gorgeous and the bride was beautiful!  Emily did a great job of planning her wedding.  She chose amazing vendors and made sure that every detail was taken care of.  It was such a beautiful day that mirrored their love for each other.

The reception was a blast and we got some amazing photos with downtown Greenville as the backdrop.  Allison Elizabeth helped me with this wedding and I could not have done it without her!

Emily and Russell, I hope you are having a great time in Paris!  Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding day!

These next two are tied for my favorites!  I LOVE that you can see the city behind the carriage, but oh how I ADORE the second.

Meet Miss Anna, who is now 20 months old, and her sweet parents, Daniel and Lynn.  

Daniel bought Lynn a shoot with me for Mother's Day so we met out at the Rock Quarry for some updated photos.  Isn't Anna a dollbaby?!?!?  We had a great time following her around and letting her play in the water!  ALL kids LOVE water!  It's a known fact.

Thank you so much for asking me to photograph your sweet family!  Daniel, that was an awesome idea for a gift!  You ROCK!  And Happy Mother's Day, Lynn.  You are a great mommy!

My favorite!  Just look at those gorgeous "Betty Hall" blue eyes!  

There are times where I get to shoots and I KNOW they are going to be great.  Then there are times when I start shooting and I'm blown away by what I see through the lens.  This was one of those days.  

I've known Will and Carly for several years now.  I was booked for their wedding, so I didn't get to shoot it.  However, a mutual friend of ours gave them a shoot with me for their wedding gift.  A GREAT gift, if you ask me!  We've tried to get together, but life just gets busy.  They have been married for almost 15 months now!  I can't believe how time has flown!

They met Kyle and I downtown on Saturday morning for our shoot.  Will brought his motorcycle that Carly gave him for their wedding present!!!  Quite the gift, huh?!?! So, we got some cute shots of them on the motorcycle as well as some other cool places.  Because Carly already wore her wedding dress on her wedding day, she was not majorly concerned about getting it dirty.  Which was great because I had them do all kinds of fun things! 

Enough of me.  Thank you so much for being so willing to do all that I wanted you to do!  I had an absolute blast shooting your pictures!  Love you both!!!

Meet Merritt.  She is the firstborn or Brandi and Jeremy.  Isn't she just beautiful?!?!  I think so and she's not even related to me!  Brandi and Jeremy welcomed her into the world this past Monday.  They are now home and doing just great.  Brandi is already a great mommy and they are both completely in love with Miss Merritt!  She did so great for our shoot!  She was awake for almost the entire shoot, which is quite rare for newborns.  Most just sleep right through it!  

Thank you so much for allowing me to come photograph Merritt for the first time!  I feel so blessed to get to be a part of her first week of life!  Congratulations!  You are going to LOVE being parents!

Here are the sweet Clardy twins again, Abe and Lane.  They are 9 weeks old, I know, I can hardly believe it too!  Aren't they adorable?!?!  I finally got to take some pictures with them and their big brother, Max.  

For some reason, I've been so weepy today!  I had a newborn session this morning and then I went to Jennifer's for these pictures.  I guess it is just seeing Mommy's with their babies.  There is something so sweet and precious about it.  Yes, it's hard work, but it is so worth the sleepless nights and sacrifices!

Be sure to watch the slideshow because one of my favorites is the last photo in the slideshow.  I took it as Jennifer was changing the twins.  They were both watching her so closely, hanging on her every word.  That kind of trust, love and devotion is indescribable!  Being a mommy ROCKS!

Happy 9 weeks, you two!  I am so happy I got to come over and hang out with you!  Love y'all!
