On Saturday, I got to photograph Kristy (Huellmantel) and Brian Trickett's wedding.  The wedding and reception were held at the Carolina First Center in Greenville.  Everyone really had a great time, especially Brian and Kristy.  I don't think Kristy sat down for one song the entire night!  I have photographed several of their friends' weddings so it was fun seeing so many people that I knew.  

Kristy looked just beautiful in her gown and was so much fun to hang out with.  Brian looked great as well in his tan tux.  I loved the colors they chose, especially the bridesmaids' dresses, just beautiful!

Kristy and her dad, John, surprised everyone with a choreographed Salsa dance.  It was so much fun!  And they did great!  I knew they were nervous, but you couldn't tell during their "performance".  

Thanks so much for asking me to be a part of your wedding day!  I hope you are having a blast on your honeymoon!

So, it's Friday, and I find myself done with the week's work.  Which is a miracle in and of itself, because all of my babysitters have gone back to school.  However, I was able to get everything done that needed to be, so I had some time to play outside with the kids.  Our next door neighbors, Anna and Andrew, were playing with Maddie and they all needed something to do.  I bought a brand new canvas wrap this week and it arrived in a HUGE box, which is like gold to kids.  So, we cut out paper/cardboard dolls!  We colored them with markers and had a grand 'ole time with them!  I haven't posted anything about my babies in a while, so I thought I'd put up some recent pictures.  Bennett is now 10.5 months old and has 1.5 teeth!  Maddie is still 3, for a few more months, and is starting K-3 next Wednesday!  She is sooooo excited!  So, here are a few pictures.  Enjoy!

On Saturday, I got to photograph Kaitlin and Kierstin.  They are precious sisters who did great for our shoot.  They were so sweet together.  Big sister Kaitlin was great with Kierstin and was like a second mommy to her!  Here are some of my favorites!  Enjoy!

Today, I got to meet and photograph, Anna and Thomas.  They were just precious!  They are 3 years apart, just like my babies, and were so much fun to watch.  Thomas will be 2 in October and is all boy.  He loved looking at roly poly's (is that how you spell that?!?!) and we looked for alligators, but fortunately, never found any.  He made me wonder what Bennett will be like when he is walking around and talking.  Miss Anna was simply perfect.  It took them a few mintues to warm up to me, but once they did, we all had a good time.  You could tell that their parents adore them and they feel the same way about them!  

Thank you for asking me to photograph them.  I think we got some great stuff!!

And a few more I couldn't help but post....

Last Saturday, we travelled to North Augusta, South Carolina, to photograph Hank and Sarah's wedding.  I need to back up and give you a little background about them before we get to the wedding details.  I met Hank and Sarah at Wes and Kati Carter's wedding.  Hank was a groomsman and was lots of fun.  So, after he proposed to Sarah, he told her that he wanted me to photograph their wedding.  Normally the brides find me, but this time was different.  I had met Sarah briefly at the Carter's wedding, so I was a little nervous, but we hit it off immediately.  So, a big thank you to Hank for asking me to photograph their wedding!  

We met in Charleston to do their engagement pictures and had a blast!  They are both such great people with wondeful personalities, so we had a very fun time.  If you haven't seen their engagement pictures, click here for the link.  They are some of my favorite engagement shots, ever.

Fastforward to last Saturday.  I enjoyed every moment of their wedding day.  Sarah was her beautiful, gracious self and Hank was his handsome, fun loving self.   Their wedding was pefect.  From the gorgeous weather, to the sweet ceremony, down to "Woody", the car that they left in. (A vintage car that Hank helped his grandfather build.)  Every detail was carried out exactly as it had been planned.  

I have been around Hank and Sarah several times now and the thing that stands out the most to me is the way they treat each other with respect and love.  They look at each other as if there is no one else in the room.  That kind of love is few and far between.  I am so thankful that I got to be a part of their day!  Congratulations, Hank and Sarah!
