On Saturday, June 21st, we travelled to Hartsville, South Carolina to photograph Beth (Hall) and Chance's wedding.  Beth is my siter-in-law's, sister-in-law.  She is a precious girl who found the man of her dreams in Chance.  They had a beautiful ceremony at Beth's church and a fun reception on the water.  

Beth and Chance, thank you for asking me to be a part of your wedding day.  I hope you had a great time on your honeymoon!

Last Saturday, I got to photograph Katie (Adams) and Bradley Brown's wedding.  Bradley is a Marine and let me just tell you, there IS something about a man in uniform!  Just ask Katie!  Bradley looked amazing in his dress blues and Katie looked stunning in her wedding gown!  They make such a striking couple!

The wedding and reception were held at Creekside Plantation and everything was just beautiful!  They had bagpipes that played "Highland Cathedral" and the "Marine's Hymn" and I wasn't sure if I would be able to take pictures for the tears in my eyes!  It was so moving!  

Congratulations Katie and Bradley!  I wish you the absolute best in life!

This past Saturday, I got to photograph April (King) and Adam Starrett's wedding.  They had a beautiful ceremony at the Cliffs Chapel on Glassy Mountain and a kickin' reception at the Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville.  April looked just gorgeous in her wedding gown and every time I saw Adam looking at her you could tell that he thought he was the luckiest man alive.  They grew up in the same neighborhood and have dated since the 7th grade!  Isn't that amazing!?!?  April said in her vows that she was so blessed to have found her soul mate at such a young age.  I thought that was one of the sweetest things I've ever heard!  

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your fairytale wedding!  Everything was just perfect, just like the love you have always had for each other!

Today, I got the privilege of meeting and photographing Sidney and Josh.  Today is Sidney's birthday, so Josh called me and asked if I would take some pictures of them.  I, of course, agreed.  He also told me that he would be proposing during our shoot!  Now, I have taken pictures of a lot of things, but never a proposal.  I was shocked, honored, and super excited, to say the least.  When they arrived, we started taking "birthday" pictures and then I let them walk on ahead of me and that is when Josh proposed.  It was the sweetest thing, ever!  After Sidney said "yes", emphatically I might add, we went on to take a few more pictures.  Right on time, a horse and carriage pulled up and Sidney saw them and said, "for me"?  Again, such a sweet moment!  Josh, you totally rock!  I was so impressed by your creativity and ability to pull all of this off without Sidney finding out a thing!  Your effort to make this special for Sydney will always mean the world to her!  

It was so great to meet both of you.  Happy Birthday, Sidney.  I hope this is a birthday you will NEVER forget!  Congratulations and thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful surprise!  

I met Emma Grace and Alex down at the park, along with their parents, and took some fun new photos.  They were PERFECT the entire shoot and Alex even winked at me!  Too cute!  They both did great and didn't seem to mind the almost 100 degree weather!
