MR. & MRS. BRANDON ROGERS
Wednesday, September 01, 2010 | more in: i do

Meet Katie Beth (Sinclair) and Brandon.  My latest couple that were married at First Baptist in Columbia, South Carolina, this past Saturday.  They had a beautiful ceremony where Katie Beth's dad, who is also a minister of music, sang "Holy Holy Holy".  The chapel was full of friends and family who were there to wish them the very best for their marriage.

The reception was held at 701 Whaley.  I LOVED this venue!  It was so beautiful!  They had paintings hanging on the wall to decorate the venue that Brandon's dad, Wayne, had painted.  I thought they were just pieces of art from a local artist!  They were amazing!  I may have to see about getting one for myself!  :)  They also had Krispy Kreme doughnuts delivered to the reception and I was SO happy about that!  Brandon had a special song played for he and his sister, Evie, to dance to.  It was such a sweet moment that I caught myself crying!

The whole day was full of laughter and love and Katie Beth didn't stop smiling the entire time!  I loved watching them look at each other because it was as if none of us were there.  You could tell that this was a marriage made in heaven!

Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!  I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to capture your sweet memories!  Congratulations!  I hope you are LOVING Mexico!

Erin O'Neil 2nd shot for me and did a fabulous job, as always!

Meet my latest couple to tie the knot, Jordan and Jimmy!  Aren't they just precious?  And so sweet to work with!

They were married at a beautiful little chapel in the mountains of Cedar Mountain, North Carolina.  It was a sweet service with lots of love and tears!  The reception was held at another location in the mountians with a gorgeous porch filled with family and friends!

Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your wedding!  Enjoy!

And now for some favorites!

A fun shot in front of the chapel!

Leaving for the reception.  (The wedding party spntaneously made a "bridge" for them to run through!)  My fave from the day!

It started to sprinkle a bit, but that didn't bother these two at all!

And the leave from the cool porch!

This past Saturday, I had the privlege of photographing Vaughn (Layne) and Cameron's wedding.  They met at Furman, so it was only fitting that they would get married there.  They had a beautiful ceremony and an incredible reception at The Westin Poinsett Hotel.

Vaughn looked beautiful in her gown, but her veil, which her mother also wore, was the best part!  Don't you agree?!?!

It was such a great day with lots of friends and family there to wish them well.  Everyone had such a fun time dancing and singing.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding!  Now here are some favorites from the day!

Vaughn's amazing Kate Spade shoes and their gorgeous rings!

Vaughn and I adore our iphones, so this is one of my faves!

The first time her dad saw her in her wedding gown!

In the chapel.....

And on the roof of the Westin.  I had so many favorites, so these are a 3 way tie!

A huge thank you to Sabrina Lewis for 2nd shooting with me!

This past Saturday, I had the honor of photographing Lindsey and Ryan's wedding.  It was such a great day!  Hot, but great! :)  They are such a phenominal couple.  I have so enjoyed getting to know them.  They are so sweet together and have this amazing love for each other.

Lindsey's dress was handmade by a friend and was PERFECT, in so many ways.

(And here is my FAVORITE from Lindsey's bridal session.)

Their ceremony was held at the Furman chapel and was such a sweet service.  Then we went downtown to Zen where eveyone danced and had a GREAT time!  And the cake, made by her aunt, simply unbelievable. Not only did they have a wedding cake, but they had a cake table that had several cakes on it!  It was incredible!

My favorite part of the evening was Lindsey's dance with her daddy.  They started out slow dancing and cut into this routine that was amazing.  I laughed and cried through the whole dance!  It was so fun!

Lindsey and Ryan, I cannot thank you enouch for allowing me to be a part of your perfect wedding day!  Thank you for being so kind to me with every interaction.  It was such a pleasure photographing you both!  I hope Jamaica is treating you well!  Enjoy!

Some favorites from the day.

The groomsmen playing air guitar for me. (Ryan is an AMAZING guitarist!  Look out Keith Urban!)

The rings, shot by my amazing 2nd shooter, Erin.  (Thanks, Erin!  You rock!!!)

I adore this shot for so many reasons!!  This is the moment we (girls) wait for and dream of!

However, I love these 3 as well.....

Dancing with her daddy!

And a fun night shot!

Congrats, guys!  Love you both!!

MR. & MRS. ANDREW THORNBURG

This past Saturday I had the privilege of photographing Molly and Andrew's wedding.  They were married at the Cliffs chapel on Glassy Mountain and it could not have been a more perfect day!  Especially for July!  The weather was simply gorgeous which reflected the whole mood of the day.

Molly and Andrew are the type of couple that make you feel so at ease when you are around them.  They are so comfortable with each other and they look at each other and the whole world disappears!  That was quite evident during the ceremony when I got these two shots.

(This was was shot by Marian Ashley.)

I also loved the way Molly's family treated everyone, including me!  I wasn't the "hired help", I was a part of the family.  It was really great just being around them.

The flowers, by Frilly Bloomers, were simply perfect.  They were so unique and I just loved them!  Christine Faust and her team at Faust Events, did a fabulous job planning the wedding and reception.  Every detail was perfect, down to the suitcases with everyone's names on the tables. (Molly and Andrew will soon be moving to Scotland!)

The reception was held at Augusta Manor and Sharon and her staff did a great job!  Augusta Manor is such a beautiful place, so check it out if you are looking for a reception site.

Molly and Andrew, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!  It was such a great day!  I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!  Here are some favorites.....

Molly's amazing shoes!

The wedding party!

My first fave of the day!

We had to stop by their house to take a quick photo with Gus and Jett, their two dogs!  It was so sweet!

Inside Augusta Manor.

I love this shot that Marian got of them while they were waiting on their guests to arrive.

And my 2nd favorite!

A big thank you to Marian for 2nd shooting with me.  I couldn't have done it without you!
