Meet Katie and Brittany, cousins, who will be graduating from high school in May of 2011.  They are both such sweet girls!

I have 3 big announcements today!  

For some time, I have been wanting to expand my business.  However, in order to do this means trusting someone to do the same things that I would do in any given situation.  I looked for a very long time and approached a very good friend of mine, who also happens to be a phenominal photographer, and asked her to come on board with me.  This person is Kim DeLoach.  She and I share the same faith, the same desire to be great mommies and the same passion for photography.  Starting this year, Kim will be working with the studio to provide the same incredible experiences that people have come to know and love from Jana Candler Photography. Secondly, I now have a studio manager, named Sarah.  She will be helping in the editing process, album design and overall customer experience.  Sarah is a very familiar face to my blog and has been in the background for quite some time.  She recently graduated from Anderson University with a psychology degree.  Sarah is a wonderful person who cares about our business as much as we do.  

And last, but certainly not least, we now have our first intern!  Jenny Farnham is a senior at North Greenville University majoring in print media.  She also happens to be one of my 2011 brides!  Jenny is a very talented photographer as well and will be honing her skills while interning with us.  You can see Jenny's work here. 

So, welcome, Kim, Sarah and Jenny!  I'm so excited to be on this journey with all of you! 

I know, I know, it's been a very long time (too long) since I've had a blog contest.  Well, the wait is over!  

My new blog contest will be about "awkward family photos".  I'm sure some of you have gotten the emails that are going around with people's actual family photos that are hysterical!  I'm going to go digging to see if I can find some that I have here.  I'm certain there are plenty to choose from!  

What I'm looking for are crazy photos, they can be of you and your family, someone else's family or even just a group of friends, but you must KNOW them.  For inspiration, go check out this link.  

There will be lots of great prizes given!  3rd place will receive a shoot with me as well as a package of prints. (1-8x10, 2-5x7's and 8 wallets) 2nd place will be a shoot with me plus 50 Christmas Cards.  And 1st place will receive a shoot with me and a 16x20 canvas wrap!!!  (If you have won previously, please still submit your photos but understand that we would like to allow someone else to have a chance to win.)

Meet my friend Robin, who just happens to own the salon, Capello Salon, where I go to get my hair done.

She and her sweet family needed some update photos so we met downtown to do just that.  Her son, Wil, is headed to USC for his Freshmen year and her daughter, Abby, is going to be a Freshmen at Riverside High.  We had a great time weathering the heat.

Meet Anna and Kevin.  This precious couple were married on July 24th, at Taylors First Baptist Church.  They had a gorgeous day and a beautiful wedding!  It couldn't have been more perfect.  

Their reception was held at Greenville Country Club and I was able to get some beautiful shots out on the course and in a cool swing.  (Pictures are below, keep scrolling)  Anna's dad, George, an awesome man and Clemson grad, started their daddy daughter dance and had the Clemson Tiger cut in!  It was so cute!  Anna was MORE than surprised, to say the least!  

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding.  I am so happy for you both and know that God has an incredible plan for your lives!  Love y'all!
